Woodley Park

In the 19th century, Woodley Park was where the Washington elite built summer homes and the reason that today's neighborhood is named after The Woodley Estate, home to presidents and other prominent figures. In the 20th century, just off the elegant residential boulevard that is Connecticut Avenue, Calvert House was built, overlooking Rock Creek, and enjoyed the great location and lovely views that first attracted dignitaries so long ago. In the 21st century, Woodley Park and Calvert House are still the desired address for those who appreciate the best that Washington, D.C. has to offer.
